Long Island City

Gantry Park is a waterfront oasis located in Long Island City, Queens. It’s a favorite among locals and tourists alike, thanks to its stunning views of the East River and the Manhattan skyline. The park covers over 12 acres, and it’s filled with green spaces, walkways, and benches where you can relax and take in the view.

But what makes Gantry Park truly special is its iconic gantries. These huge metal structures were once used to load and unload cargo from ships, but they’ve been repurposed as a unique piece of public art. The gantries offer a perfect frame for the Manhattan skyline, making for some of the most Instagram-worthy photos you’ll ever take.

An Unforgetable Experience

Whether you’re a first-time visitor to New York City or a seasoned traveler, there’s no better way to experience the magic of the skyline than from Gantry Park. Here are some of the things you can look forward to:

Unbeatable views: As we mentioned earlier, Gantry Park offers some of the best views of the New York City skyline. You’ll be able to see iconic landmarks like the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, and One World Trade Center.

Peaceful surroundings: Despite being located in the heart of Queens, Gantry Park is surprisingly peaceful and quiet. You can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and recharge your batteries in a serene environment.

A unique perspective: When you’re standing on the Manhattan side of the East River, you’re looking up at the skyline. But from Gantry Park, you’ll be able to see the city from a different angle. It’s a truly unique perspective that you won’t find anywhere else.
